As supervision caseloads for Probation agencies escalate and increasingly problematic offenders enter the system, the challenge of maintaining control of non-compliant offenders has severely taxed agency resources. Often, due to limited budgets and scarce resources, officers have limited options available to them for supervising probation violators. Resources are often spent on programs that have minimal long-term value, and the offender is not held accountable for his/her actions. In addition, agencies do not have the staffing and resources to adequately monitor large caseloads of compliant offenders who are successfully completing probation requirements and who require minimal supervision (e.g., misdemeanants, administrative and banked caseloads).
ESA can assist in designing, managing or enhancing an effective programs for non-compliant offenders and low-risk caseloads. Depending on each agency's needs, we offer a range of solutions — from incorporating state-of-the-art supervision technology into existing programs, to building and managing intense, and highly accountable supervision, treatment and management programs. These sophisticated programs will provide secure, timely information for you and the offender. They also reinforce honesty and integrity that would otherwise be lost.
